May The Muse is the artist project of Desiree Mishoe, a US/German/Danish singer songwriter, producer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin.

With Afro-American, German, and Danish roots and a childhood in Belgium, she draws from soul, R&B, rock, pop, country, electronic music, and cinematic soundscapes to create music that is both deeply personal and impossible to categorize or confine to a single genre. 

A self-taught artist, Désirée has built her world through fearless experimentation, raw storytelling, and a distinctive voice celebrated for its intensity and emotional depth. Her music has taken her from collaborations with artists including Robot Koch, Parra for Cuva and Chefket to stages such as Montreux Jazz Festival, Melt! and Reeperbahn Festival, as well as a celebrated A COLORS SHOW. Her songs have also appeared in Netflix’s Dark and Riverdale.

Today, May The Muse continues to evolve as an independent artist, bringing together music, visuals, and storytelling to create a universe entirely her own.
